SonShine School is in session from September to mid-May.

Note:
Children placed in the 2 – 4 year old classes must be the age of the class by September 1st of the school year.

Our 5 Year Old Class is intended for children who have completed a 4 year old preschool program and are turning 5 in June, July or August. Any exception to this placement criteria is at the discretion of the Director.

Sportball

SonShine School partners with Sportball Inc to deliver an on-site, optional after school program. Classes run either Monday or Friday from 1:15 – 2:15 pm.

Sportball teaches fundamental sports skills to children ages 3 to 5 in a non-competitive environment. Sportball focuses on seven different sports: hockey, soccer, baseball, basketball, volleyball, tennis, & golf. Sportball classes are limited to 16 children per day and the minimum class size is 8. Registration is conducted at SonShine School in the Fall and Spring for each semester’s sessions. A random lottery system is used to select names for each class. Children may attend both the Monday and Friday sessions if space is available.

 

Wee Little Arts

SonShine School partners with Wee Little Arts to deliver an on-site, after school program for children ages 3 – 5.  Class runs on Mondays from 1:15 – 2:15 pm.

Explore Wee Little Arts gifted visual arts program to create frame-worthy masterpieces.  Art lessons specifically designed for young learners use a wonderful children’s library of art literature and teach advanced concepts using child-like images and language.  Children use real watercolor paper, learn various brushstrokes using artist quality brushes as well as an array of media.  For more information on Wee Little Arts, please visit their website at www.weelittlearts.com.
